Marvel Studios unveiled its Phase Seven slate at a packed presentation Saturday, announcing six new theatrical films and four streaming series that will introduce the next generation of superheroes and set up the franchise next major crossover event.

The lineup includes sequels to recent hits along with introductions of several new characters from the Marvel comics universe. The studio said it plans to release two films per year through 2028.

Fan favorites returning include several characters from the original Avengers franchise in supporting roles, while newer characters from the Disney Plus series will make their theatrical debuts.

The announcement came amid growing competition from rival studios and questions about superhero fatigue. Marvel president said the studio is quality-focused and committed to diverse storytelling.
